Mapping Eastern Cape ECD Organisations Through NED Connect

NASCEE, the Eastern Cape ECD Regional Hub and Khululeka are using NED Connect to map organisations, programmes and services supporting Early Childhood Development (ECD) in the Eastern Cape. This initiative aims to strengthen coordination, identify service gaps, reduce duplication and improve collaboration across the ECD ecosystem.

Discover how NASCEE, in collaboration with the Eastern Cape ECD Regional Hub and Khululeka, is using the National Education Directory (NED Connect) to map the Eastern Cape’s Early Childhood Development ecosystem.

By improving the visibility of organisations, programmes and services supporting ECD centres, this initiative aims to identify gaps, strengthen partnerships and support better coordination and provincial planning. Through NED Connect, stakeholders can build a clearer picture of the support available to ECD centres and identify opportunities for collaboration to improve outcomes for young children.

ECD organisations are encouraged to register on NED Connect and update their organisational profiles to help build a more comprehensive picture of the sector across the province.
