The latest NASCEE Round Up brings together news, events and opportunities from across the NASCEE network and South Africa’s wider education ecosystem.

In this edition, we celebrate Bokang Mokoena, Mcebisi Kunene and Savannah Cozzi, whose work has been recognised among the Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans 2026.

We also look ahead to the Gauteng Regional Networking Event, focused on strengthening the use of reading data for improved literacy outcomes, and share an upcoming webinar from the Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership and Governance exploring Mother Tongue-Based Bilingual Education.
The Community Notice Board rounds out the edition with upcoming NASCEE events, partner events and opportunities for education organisations and practitioners.
