NASCEE Round Up | Collaboration, Leadership and New Opportunities Across South Africa's Education Sector
The latest edition of the NASCEE Round Up highlights how collaboration continues to strengthen South Africa's education ecosystem through shared learning, innovation, and meaningful partnerships.
This edition features the NASCEE Leadership Forum Impact Report, showcasing how relationships built through the Forum are helping organisations move beyond transactional partnerships to create lasting impact. Through initiatives such as AI skills development, digital literacy programmes, and new communities of practice, members are demonstrating the value of working together to address complex education challenges.
We also reflect on our recent Fundraising Professional Learning Community Masterclass with Dr. Russell Ally, whose thought-provoking session explored philanthropy, power, and the realities of resource mobilisation. Participants were encouraged to rethink fundraising through the lens of relationships, governance, community agency, and long-term sustainability.
The Round Up also announces the return of NASCEE's Tuesdays in the Trenches webinar series, which will focus on the important role parents and caregivers play in supporting children's education. The series will bring together education leaders and practitioners to share practical insights, experiences, and strategies for strengthening family and community engagement.
In addition, we introduce the new Connect feature on NED Connect, enabling organisations to connect directly with one another through the platform and making collaboration across the education sector easier than ever before.
The edition concludes with upcoming NASCEE events, Professional Learning Community sessions, partner opportunities, and sector news designed to support continuous learning and collaboration across our growing network.
