EVENT THEME

Provincial education priorities: Strategic priorities for 2026 and opportunities for partnership and collaboration

This session will provide participants with direct insight into the WCED’s strategic priorities for 2026 and how these priorities are shaping programmes and partnerships across the province.

Senior representatives from the WCED will share perspectives on key focus areas for the year ahead and highlight where collaboration with civil society organisations can strengthen support to schools and learners. Furthermore, NASCEE senior leadership will demonstrate how the NED Connect platform can actively facilitate collaboration and contribute towards strategic data-informed decision-making.

For organisations working in the Western Cape, this conversation offers a valuable opportunity to:

  • Gain insight into current education priorities and emerging areas of focus
  • Explore how programmes and initiatives can align with provincial priorities
  • Identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration with government and other organisations
